Canon Products That Simplify Photo Sharing

Sometimes we tend to find ways to make our life easier and in the case of cameras, ways to make it easier and faster for us to share the photos that we have taken. Social networks have spurned a new generation of photographers and social sharing is all about updating people on your life events in the moment. Canon is one of the many manufacturers that have products that can simplify the way we share our photos and here are just some of the many products that we have to share with you.

Canon PowerShot G16

The Powershot G-series has been around for quite some time and it is also a favorite of many photographers. It has almost all of the features that you would expect from a DSLR but in a more compact form. It comes with a twelve megapixel sensor and has Wi-Fi for you to easily share your photographs. At an estimated price tag of $549.99, it can be a bit expensive but worthy of purchasing if you’re going to take loads of family action pictures.

Canon PowerShot S120

If you need something more economical priced than the G16, consider getting the S120 instead. It still comes with built-in Wi-Fi, but it also has less features than the G16. Capturing photographs is now easier as the S120 has 58 different pre-defined scenes for you to choose from. At an estimated price tag of $449.99, the PowerShot S120 is expected to be available in October 2013.

Canon PowerShot N Facebook Ready

An interesting camera to look at from Canon is the PowerShot N, probably the only Facebook ready edition being marketed today. Like the name implies, there is a button for you to quickly share your photos with your friends on Facebook – handy unless you’re a troglodyte and don’t want to share your furry mugshots with the world. The neatly engineered wireless radio easily connects the camera to your Facebook account, meaning you can share the photos immediately when you click the Facebook Connect button.

It has an 8x optical zoom with a 28mm wide-angle lens. The sensor on the other hand can capture a 12.1 megapixel image. The Canon PowerShot N Facebook ready comes with a price tag of $299.99 exclusively at the Canon Direct online store.

Canon Pixma MC7120 Printer

Photographic efforts wouldn’t be complete without a photo printer; so, intelligent photographers know the MC7120 is a convenient one to have when quick prints were needed – like yesterday. From your Wi-Fi ready camera, you can easily transfer the photos to the printer for it to print. It also has a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen and six individual tanks that can produce great images. It also comes with four different colors which are white, black, brown and red. The Canon MC7120 printer is available at $199.99, considered highway robbery to some – but an easier photo printer to operate to others.

The latest Powershot to hit the market is the SX280. You can read a detailed review here.

While it appears this segment was partial to Canon products, there are few innovations available today that, when sold separately, can still conjoin to make photography seamless. Canon is your complete package, providing lenses, equipment, printers and everything that photographers need to hit the mean streets in search for their next still-frame memory.
